This book is printed using a service called Print on Demand or POD. The reason I chose to publish it in this manner is so that I could maintain control over the contents and update the book as often as needed. Typically, it takes at least a year and often longer, to bring a new or revised book to the market. This is a problem for women seeking current, state of the art information. Using POD, I can revise this book and include new research whenever I feel it is needed - without any constraints from outside interests!

As a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, I am committed to bringing women the best information available. Unfortunately, many booksellers such as Barnes & Nobles, prefer to work only with traditional publishers. This seriously limits women's access to some excellent books.
